Pistol or Carbine Private Lessons


Service Description

These classes are intended for a single discipline per session. 2-Gun courses will be priced differently and will contain different fundamentals not mentioned below. For beginner lessons, you can expect to cover the following topics: - Visual Recognition (Iron Sights or Red Dot) - Trigger Control - Grip Pressures - Multiple Target Transitions - Increasing Shooting Speed Minimum gear required: Students must bring 300 rounds of preferred handgun ammunition. Handgun, ear, and eye protection are recommended but can be rented from the instructor. For intermediate lessons, you can expect to cover the beginner topics, in addition to the following: - Draws (From Concealment or OWB Holster) - Reloads (Speed Reloads and Tactical Reloads) - Strong Hand & Support Hand Engagements - Basic Movement Minimum gear required: Students must bring 300 rounds of preferred handgun ammunition. Gun belt with holster & two magazine pouches recommended, but can be rented from the instructor. Handgun (red dot optic preferred), ear, and eye protection are recommended but can be rented from the instructor. For advanced lessons, you can expect to cover the beginner and intermediate topics, in addition to the following: - Dynamic Shooting Drills - Engagements From Cover & Barricades - Incorporation of No-Shoot & Hard Cover Targets - Rapid Engagement of Multiple Targets at Varying Distances Minimum gear required: Students must bring 500 rounds of preferred handgun ammunition. Gun belt with holster & two magazine pouches recommended, but can be rented from the instructor. Handgun (red dot optic preferred), ear, and eye protection are recommended but can be rented from the instructor. ALL CLASSES REQUIRE CLOSE-TOED SHOES. SUNSCREEN, WATER, AND SNACKS ARE RECOMMENDED.
